Payday: The Heist ~ 100% Guide

Quick Overview

Payday the Heist is a first person shooter about a gang of 4 criminals. It has one dlc pack. The dlc is required if you want 100%. Some trophies require 4 human players. So please check herehere or here to find boosting partners.

Difficulty Rating

5/10

Online/Offline Trophies

There are some trophies that are possible in solo offline but most of them will require the help of others, some even require 4 human players.

OVERKILL

Earn all the other Base Game trophies.

Diplomatic

There are 2 ways to get a hostage. The first is to use your cable ties on a civilian, the second is to dominate a cop by yelling at them with R2. Dominating armoured officers is a little trickier and may require you to shoot or melee them with R3 to intimidate them. When your teammate goes down do not revive them, let them go into custody and when the assault ends you will be prompted to trade the hostage. It's best to do this on a higher difficulty as you are released after a time limit on normal.

Eagle eyes

There are 4 types of special units. Shields, basically a cop with a riot shield. Tasers, a cop with a taser gun that can stun you for a few seconds causing you to spray ammo. Bulldozers, a cop in a bomb disposal suit, they kinda look like astronauts. They are the strongest and take the most damage to kill. And Cloakers, these are an elite unite that look like Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, when nearby they have an audio cue. They are the fastest unit. Simply press R2 to highlight one of these.

Cheney?

See Eagle Eyes for a description of a Bulldozer. To use your shotgun press triangle to switch weapons. Breaking a Bulldozers faceplate will allow you to shoot it in the head and do more damage.

Intimidating

Heavy Swat are regular cops with a heavy suit of armour and a helmet. Shout at them with R2, melee them with R3 and/or shoot then with a weak pistol to get them to submit more easily.

Left for dead

For this you will need a team of 4 human players. I suggest playing on hard. First World bank, complete the heist up to the point where your about to escape. 1 Person purposely goes into custody and the rest escape.

Last man standing

Same strategy as Left for Dead except roles are reversed. 3 go into custody and 1 escapes.

Blood in, blood out

Start Slaughterhouse on Hard. There are 3 butchers running around inside. Tie them up and trade each of them for a crewmate.

Dodge this!

This one can be rather tricky. Might be best done with a human partner. Unlock the M308 rifle under Sharpshooter for high damage at a good range. If your partner know how they can use the glitch to get a top the flagpole at the front door and use the bag glitch. They will focus on killing enemies while you do objectives. Have them tell you when a Bulldozer shows up and you pick it off at a distance.

A bridge too far!

Can be done in conjunction with Don't Lose Face.

But how?

Start Slaughterhouse on normal. At start of the heist stand on the scaffolding bridge and shoot the windshield of the armoured van. When you get inside the front end should be hanging through the ceiling. DO NOT shoot the wires. You have to survive 3 assault waves and it will fall by itself.

Windowlicker

Start First World Bank on normal. You will need at least 1 trip mine, you get this at level 4 sharpshooter. Go outside to the windows to the cafeteria place a trip mine next the middle window as close possible to the window on the ground so the laser is pointed toward the sky. When the swat try to blow the windows it should kill him.

Civil Disobedience

Can be done any heist on any difficulty. You can track this via one of the challenges, ex. Kill x amount of law enforcers with a specific gun. Otherwise you will have to keep count manually.

Are there more than two?

Start Panic Room on normal. There are 12 money bundle randomly scattered throughout and some outside the building, you need to pick up 10 of them so this is best done solo. This guide has all the possible locations.

Darkness

Start Green Bridge on normal. There 23 hanging lightbulbs on the 4 levels of scaffolding. Shoot them all.

You can run but you can't hide

Start Panic Room on normal. The timer starts as soon as you pull out your gun. Stepping past the guards to the third floors starts the heist. Chavez wears an orange shirt and red baseball cap. He's usually locked in a room with a bunch of other gangsters on the 3rd or 4th floor. Though sometimes he will run up the roof or spawn on the 2nd floor.

Shinobi

The best way I can explain it is you need to stealth the heist. This can be combined with Are Those The Blue Ones? as well as Bomb Man and I Pushed The Button And Lived. But the Red Diamond in RNG based.

I ain't afraid no more

You level up by collecting money, you get money by completing objectives and picking it up. Fill up your exp bar to the point where about to level up and complete an objective during an assault. You'll know an assault is going on by the red ASSAULT in the bottom middle of your screen. Press select to change your current class.

Crack-bang

Same strategy as I Ain't Afraid No More. Just kill a sniper before you level up, most heists have snipers on nearby rooftops.l

Lay on hands

Same strategy as the last 2 but you may need 2 human players to assist you. Have one person do the objective and the other purposely down themselves. Start reviving them, then complete the objective.

Are those the blue ones?

Please see Shinobi.

Gold digger

This is best done with 4 human players on normal.

Stand together

This is fairly easy but does require 4 human players. Everyone should bring a doctor's bag. If you health drops below half, drop one doc bag at an objective point and heal up.

Quick draw

This can be done solo on normal, but having more human players will make it easier. It sometimes pops randomly when restarting the heist.

No photos

You will need 4 human players for this. Preferably in a similar region to avoid latency/lag. It's best to use a single fire weapon for better accuracy, such as the starting pistol or M308 rifle.

  • Lobby: There are 4 cameras in the lobby. Two are placed on each side of the wall behind the counters. Then one is placed on the left wall and one on the right wall.
  • Cafeteria: The cafeteria has 2 cameras. One is on the first floor in the corner by the desks. One is on the second floor near the stairs.
  • Drill area: You will find 3 cameras in the drill area. Two cameras are on each wall of the office area and one camera is on the right wall near the entrance from the lobby.
  • Management: The corridor of the management area has 3 cameras. One is near the manager's office, one is near the server room and one is above the sofa's at the end of the corridor.

Hot lava

This can be done solo with AI but human players will make it much easier.

Federal crime

FBI Agents are the cops in white button up shirts, they usually show up in between assaults to try and rescue hostages. This can be done solo with AI but a human partner would be more helpful to kill the other cops. Panic Room or First World Bank are good heists for this.

One shot, one kill - repeat

An easy method is Heat Street, there are lots of civilians on the streets and they only require one shot to kill.

Bomb man

Can be combined with Shinobi.

Are you ready yet?

This one can be done solo with AI as they have infinite ammo. Try to find a safe camping spot in cover and simply wait it out.

Easy street

This is best done with 3-4 human players. One person does all the shooting except the rest each kill one civilian with one shot. With their 100% accuracy it should average to around 60-70%.

I pushed the button and lived!

Please see Shinobi.

Noob herder

You will need 4 human players below level 5. Back up your save and reset progress from the main menu. An easy way to do this is stealth Diamond Heist.

Don't lose face

Pretty straightforward. Just don't trade anyone. You can use the bag glitch, whereby you place a bag on a surface so that part of it is hanging off the edge so that you can sit inside of it to avoid taking damage.

Payday

Complete heists on Overkill and/or Overkill 145+ to get a larger payout.

The Wolfpack DLC

Quick Overview

The Wolfpack is the only DLC, it adds 2 new heists, new weapons and a new class. Most of the trophies are impossible solo so boosting is recommended.

Difficulty Rating

7/10

Online/Offline Trophies

All trophies can be attempted solo offline but are incredibly difficult if not outright impossible solo so it's best to boost these.

Crowd Control

I recommend at least a team of 3-4 players. Start Counterfeit on normal. All bring extra cable ties. There's are a few different spawns. Usually you have the couple by the BBQ. The other couple will be there too, by the piano, or by the wall with the trellis. The Bikini girl is usually by the pool or on the couch in Wilson's House. There are also usually a few people in Mitchell's kitchen. It's easiest tie Mitchell in the basement so you won't need the crow bar to open the basement door.

Focus on doing objectives during the assault. When the assault has ended you will need to babysit the hostages. Do not intimidate cops. Your hostage count will be 7, keep an eye on that number. If a hostage is freed tie them back up. They only try to free the hostages when there ISN'T an assault going on. I believe if you are in custody when the heist ends it will not count.

Detective Gadget

These are all unlocks of Technition skill tree. Be sure to equip it with the select button so that you can level it up. Once you have all the required unlocks equip them and complete any heist.

Quick hands

For this you will need 4 human players. This is an RNG based trophy. On Counterfeit when entering the basement there is a chance it will be trapped with C4. To know for sure you should see piles of cash and the counterfeiting machine. You can restart the heist until the C4 appears.

Use this diagram to figure out which C4 each person will disarm.

The Saviour

This can be done solo and the heist does not need to be completed. Run around the buildin, some are located on the roof and you should see planks of wood in various place. Pick them up and place them over Windows, vents and fences on the roof to protect from Snipers and Cloakers.

Blow-out

This can be done solo but is tricky due to ammo consumption. You only get a grenade for every few ammo boxes you pick up. The best way to do it is stay out of the main room when the hacking is going on, partly because you don't want to break the boards on the Windows and to keep the cops attention away from the computer. I think using AI negates this trophy so be sure to turn them off.

Pacifist

This is probably the hardest trophy in the DLC, there are a couple methods you can do, but having a team of 3-4 human players will make this easier. Be sure to turn off AI as they won't hesitate to kill. It's best to do objectives when the assault is over. You can use a glitch to avoid taking damage as much as possible. Stand on the bed in Mitchell's bedroom and place a bag so that it sticks over the edge. If placed correctly you should be able to crouch inside of it and you will not take any damage. The only problem you might run into is Bulldozers shutting off the power and water, shields and snipers on the nearby rooftops.
