The First Descendant ~ Platinum Guide

Quick Overview

The First Descendant is a free to play 3rd person shooter. It follows The Descendant whom is helping the inhabitants of Albion to collect the Iron Hearts and fight against the Vulgus. An alien cyborg species that are also after the Iron Hearts. The gameplay is very similar in vein to Warframe in which you play coop missions with up to 4 players and crafted items can take hours or be sped up with premium currency.

PS4 Servers have been shut down.

Upon returning to Albion Seneca will mention Albion is being attack by a Colossi, speak to him to battle Grave Walker.

I can see the Future of the Colossi

The Colossi get progressively harder so it's best to just kill Grave Walker after getting to lv. 20+.

Power! Oh Infinite Power!

You may get this naturally through normal progression but a good level grinding mission is Special Operations Defend Albion Resource in Kingston Grand Square.

Talk to Silion in Albion. He can upgrade any module at a cost. Their effectiveness is increased but they take up more space.

This unlocks at Mastery 9. Speak to Silion in Albion.

Execute Order 77

Speak to Silion in Albion and dismantle any duplicate modules by sorting by quantity.

In order to do this you must first get any Descendant to lv. 40 then craft an Crystallization Catalyst. Please Note you get 1 for free from Descendant Instructor for completing one of his subquests, you also get 1 for completing the main campaign. A workbench is located near Anais in Albion. In order to transfer levels you need 2 guns with differing levels and the appropriate phase exchanger.

Growing Possibility

You need 2 copies of an Ultimate Weapon and combine them at a Workbench.

Out of Weapons

You can dismantle weapons from your inventory. Press options and click on your equipped weapon.

This Reacton's a First

You enhance Reactors at the Workbench.

The Sensible Life of Research

Speak to Anais in Albion to complete Research.

No Hope for the Vulgus

Descendant instructor will give a sub quest to craft the Thunder Cage.

Descendants, Assemble

You choose your first Descendant from Viessa, Ajax or Lepic. By following the story you get Bunny. And you get a Sub Quest to Research Freyna. Sharen is easy to get and so is Blair. You can also alternately research any of the 3 you didn't pick

Good Things Happen Twice

In order to grapple a weak point you need to first damage it to the point were it flashes yellow. To find weak point press R3. Once it is yellow aim at and press R1 to grapple on to the Colossi, it is very finicky keep trying. Once attached mash R2 to destroy the weak point. Do this Twice.
