A Hero's Way

Technical writer turned front-end developer

Making complex things clear and usable.

From trophy guides to front-end development, clarity has been the through-line.

Explore my journey

I started writing trophy guides after finding inefficient or abandoned resources—and changed requirements that existing guides never covered. Improving that experience grew into years of hands-on UX/UI work, then into front-end development and systems thinking.

2018–2025

Documentation & UX/UI

Started writing guides in late 2018. Developed my approach to usable, maintainable documentation on TrueTrophies (2018–2024) and Blogger (2020–2025).

Sep 2025–May 2026

Web & mobile development

Began formal study, then continued through self-directed learning as my pace and learning style moved beyond the coursework.

Sep 2025–Oct 2026

Systems thinking

Developed the structural framework behind my portfolio, connecting content, interface, and the systems that support them.

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition ~ 100% Trophy Guide

Quick Overview

Welcome to my walkthrough for Payday 2: Crimewave Edition. I will explain each trophies requirements, I will provide stealth methods and videos for easily stealthable heists. DLC Trophies are included at the bottom, they are in order of the PSN listing. This guide is built completely upon over 1,400+ hours of direct hands-on Co-op and Solo gameplay, with all strategy milestones and tactical parameters manually verified against active live-service patches.

Difficulty Rating

6/10

Online/Offline Trophies

Approximately 90% of the trophy list can be completed solo using AI teammates. However, several trophies require four human players due to their coordination requirements. While all difficulty trophies are easier with a team, the improved Crimewave Edition AI makes solo completion a viable option.

My Method of Verification for Unlock Methods

Instead of pulling raw data from automated database aggregates, the documentation on this blog is built using a rigorous, hands-on optimization workflow:

  • First-Hand System Testing: Every guide begins by playing the game using existing data as a baseline to track requirements in real time.
  • Identifying & Correcting Inaccuracies: When existing resources are non-existent, unoptimized, or completely contradict themselves (such as the widespread documentation errors surrounding the Main Ops 33 unlock in Peace Walker), I research the precise internal mechanics in-game.
  • Reworking & Optimizing: Faulty or bloated strategies are completely overhauled from my personal testing notes, replacing outdated steps with the absolute most efficient execution methods possible.
  • The Blueprint Stress-Test: Once a guide is published, I use my own finalized documentation as the primary blueprint to play through and fully complete the game myself to verify the logic works flawlessly under live conditions.

I am the original author of this True Trophies Guide.

Warning: Three DLC packs have been delisted and can no longer be purchased: Scarface, John Wick, and Point Break. As these DLCs were removed due to licensing agreements, additional content may be delisted in the future. If you do not own these DLCs, there are currently two known workarounds.
  • Option 1: Join a friend who owns the DLC and have them host the required heists, or join a public lobby running the heist. However, this method only grants access to certain trophies and may be unreliable due to the limited availability of active lobbies.
  • Option 2: Game share with someone who owns the DLC and download the game through their account. This method provides access to the removed heists, weapons, and other DLC content required for the remaining associated trophies.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege ~ Platinum Trophy Guide PS4 and PS5

Quick Overview

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical pvp first-person shooter. This guide is built completely upon over 5,300+ hours of direct hands-on multiplayer gameplay, with all strategy milestones and tactical parameters manually verified against active live-service patches.

Important: Trophies can only be in Quick Match, Unranked and Ranked. It is supposed to be a full autopop but I've found that some trophies may not autopop and have to be redone. Progress does carry over between versions, ex. you get 5/10 frag kills on PS4, the tracker on PS5 will reflect that progress should you switch versions. I've found reports that some Steam Achievements may not progress in Unranked, not sure if this affects Playstation.

System Update — Streamlined Trophy Layout

I’ve made some improvements to the trophy guide layout to keep things fast, clean, and easy to use. A few features that were previously in development have been removed because they added extra steps without providing meaningful benefits to players.

What Changed?

  • Tags removed — Trophy tags (Story, Grind, Online, etc.) have been retired. All important context is already explained directly in each trophy’s description, making tags unnecessary and reducing page clutter.
  • Checkboxes removed — Manual “Earned” checkboxes have been removed. The guide already includes dynamic filtering options (show/hide earned trophies, DLC grouping, search, etc.), so manual checkmarks were redundant and added extra clicking for players.
  • Roadmap removed — The roadmap section has been phased out. Trophy order varies by game and player preference, and the guide’s filtering and grouping tools already make navigation simple without a fixed sequence.

Why These Features Were Removed

The goal of the guide is to stay fast, readable, and efficient. Some features looked helpful at first, but in practice they added extra steps, slowed down updates, and made the layout heavier without improving the experience.

By simplifying the structure, the guide now loads faster, scrolls smoother, and is easier to maintain. All essential information is still present — just in a cleaner, more direct format.

What’s Still Here

  • Full trophy descriptions
  • Dynamic filtering (earned/unearned, DLC, search)
  • Clear grouping and organization
  • Fast loading and improved performance

Thank you for using the guides! These changes help keep everything lightweight, accessible, and focused on what matters most: completing the trophies.

Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker ~ Platinum Guide PS3 and PS5 WIP

Quick Overview

Set in 1974 Costa Rica, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker follows Big Boss as he builds his private military company, Militaires Sans Frontières, while uncovering a covert nuclear plot. Built around a mission-based loop, gameplay pairs tactical stealth and combat operations with offshore Mother Base management, where you Fulton-extract enemy soldiers to staff R&D, Intel, and Medical departments to craft higher-tier weapons and gear. Designed for both solo play and co-op, the game features extensive Main and Extra Ops, including a famous *Monster Hunter* crossover on *Isla del Monstruo* where players team up with modern military firePOWer to hunt legendary beasts like Rathalos, Tigrex, and Gear Rex for exclusive gear.

Disney Dreamlight Valley ~ Platinum Guide

Quick Overview

DDV is very much like Animal Crossing: New Horizons but with Disney Characters. It is no longer set to go free to play but will continue to receive free content updates as well as paid content. The platinum is slightly grindy but will come with dailyplay. Highly recommend this app on Android for daily reminders as well as collection and in game challenge tracking.

There is no autopop, but there is a workaround through cross save, and it is cross buy. In order to get both platinum's without having to do the work twice you must play online. When switching versions it will ask if you want to use Local or Cloud save. Get the required task completed on whichever version you are playing. Switch to the other version, use cloud save, and collect the task. Then switch back to the other version and use your local save and collect it again. (Use backup if necessary.)

Paradise Killer ~ Platinum Guide

Quick Overview

If you bought Paradise Killer because you saw stylized 2D character art standing in a quirky world, a larger-than-life cast of eccentric suspects, and a massive murder mystery, you are in the right place. It shares that same aesthetic DNA. However, instead of being trapped in a high-stress, linear visual novel, Paradise Killer drops you into a 3D open-world, vaporwave paradise with a very chill, city-pop soundtrack.

Dead by Daylight ~ 100% Guide PS4 and PS5

Quick Overview

DBD is a 1 v 4 horror pvp game. What makes it distinct is that the killer plays in first person while survivors play in third person. DLC can be purchased in bundles. Licensed can only be purchased with real money while original characters can be purchased individually for 9k iridescent shards each. Shards are earned by leveling up, by reaching 100 you automatically gain a devotion level increasing the amount of shards gained on level up. Beyond the hard trophies a lot of them are very grindy. Behaviour periodically lets you trial some of the characters, you can take advantage of this to earn trophies without having to buy that DLC.

Important Note: Map Offerings were nerfed to a 20% chance.

Boosting requires 2 hosts in the same matchmaking region (NA East/West, EU, AU, Etc.) and on the same platform, preferably close geographically. If you have 2 people with a VPN you can set your region to Australia as the servers are generally dead. The survivor host who is trying to match with the killer should invite the other survivors, who's region doesn't matter. Both hosts must turn off crossplay. Mics are important for communication as only the killer can say if you have found each other. It is also possible to try messaging PS4/5 survivors to ask for help.

All trophies autopop and it goes backwards from PS5 to PS4.

Process of Elimination ~ Platinum Guide

Quick Overview

If you are coming from Danganronpa, Process of Elimination will feel like a familiar, darker cousin to the series you love. It trades the high-speed Class Trial debates for a tense, cerebral, and highly tactical murder mystery. Process of Elimination is a brutal, high-stakes mystery that prioritizes logical deduction over fast-paced action. It offers a sophisticated take on the "Locked-Room" subgenre, where your primary weapon isn't a silver tongue, but your ability to organize and utilize a massive, diverse team of investigators under extreme pressure.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony ~ Platinum Guide

Quick Overview

The 3rd mainline entry, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, is a standalone story and a soft reboot of the series, distinct from the Danganronpa 3 anime conclusion of the Hope's Peak saga. We return to a school-like setting—the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles—which features an overgrown, prison-like atmosphere. Instead of solely dealing with Monokuma, we are introduced to the Monokubs, who pilot giant mechs called Exisals to enforce the rules. The game also features a Casino where you can play various minigames to earn Casino Coins for prizes and skills.

The Vita version is prone to random crashes so I recommend playing the PS4 version as it is much more stable. If you already own the Vita version, play the demo and for an import bonus then use the cross save feature to move you save to the PS4 version. The list is shared so no worries there.

Ready or Not ~ 100% Trophy Guide

Quick Overview

For fans of the classic, pre-Siege Rainbow Six series, this game serves as their true spiritual successor. While Siege originally focused on hostage rescue before pivoting entirely to competitive bomb defusal, this title takes those tactical roots and delivers a pure PvE experience. Operating as a tactical unit, your objectives are to suppress and arrest terrorists, collect evidence, and rescue hostages. You have total tactical freedom to execute your missions using either lethal or non-lethal force.

If you bought the Base Game alone you can upgrade to deluxe by paying a small upgrade fee. If you bought any of the DLC separately you are completely locked out of the Deluxe Upgrade!
